“Binocular City,” artist talk and essay by C. Schmid

535 Main Street: clip from the installation
My latest video installation “535 Main Street” focused on the surface of a brick wall on a vacant lot. With the help of local elementary students, I made a video installation for the site. Here is a short clip of how I used their drawings in the installation.
